The Cedaero hive mind grew from a three person team put together by Dan Cruikshank in 2017 as an expression of love of cycling, making packs, and a desire to build a vibrant community in Two Harbors, MN. Since then, our staff has grown to include a mix of bike nerds, artists, sewing wizards, and outdoor enthusiasts. 

Beyond the packs, you’ll find slices of errant creativity slipping through too. From the wacky spectacle that is the Slender James Classic Enduro to the route-scouting spirit that infuses our annual staff bike packing trip, to the classic chain stitching on some extra-special editions, we enjoy building things together. Artists gonna art!

Just like when we started, we still design and manufacture all our packs right here on the north shore of Lake Superior from materials made in the USA. Our vast trail networks and dynamic weather affords us the ability to test our products in our own backyard, including in the depths of winter. We design our packs to be used hard and warranty our craftsmanship and hardware. This means you can count on your packs and focus on other things like getting a little "sendy" on that fully loaded bike, stopping to watch those baby snapping turtles hatch, and getting to work on time. And we hope our vast array of color options infuses your rides with a little extra joy too.
